LABSUL MEMBER GIVES LECTURES AT THE CEUB: DEBATES ON REGULATORY AGENDA AND THE BRAZILIAN INTERNET BILL OF RIGHTS

The 8th EnCUCA – International Research Symposium and CEUB Scientific Initiation Meeting is taking place from October 7 to 9, 2025, bringing together researchers, professors, and professionals from various fields to reflect on contemporary challenges in science, technology, and public policy.

LabSul member Gustavo Silveira Borges is participating in the event with two lectures focused on technology and digital regulation. In the morning, he delivered the talk “The Technology Regulatory Agenda and the Legal Challenges of Digital Governance”, discussing emerging regulatory frameworks and their ethical-legal implications in the context of digital governance.

Later, at 7:15 p.m., he will present the lecture “The Federal Supreme Court and the Brazilian Internet Bill of Rights: Impacts for Companies”, offering reflections on recent jurisprudence from the Federal Supreme Court and its effects on the liability of digital platforms and the corporate environment.

LabSul’s presence at EnCUCA reinforces the laboratory’s commitment to fostering dialogue between academic research and the regulatory challenges of new technologies, contributing to the advancement of digital governance grounded in human rights and responsible innovation.
