FREEDOM OF RELIGION OR BELIEF ON THE INTERNET IS ADDRESSED IN TRAINING ACTIONS

Through collaboration on the project “Freedom of Religion or Belief on the Internet: The Protection of Human Rights in the Information Society,” education and training activities were carried out by members of LABSUL.

Five educational and training sessions were held on “Freedom of religion or belief on the Internet,” with researchers Prof. Dr. Gustavo Silveira Borges (LABSUL), Prof. Dr. Rodrigo Vitorino Souza Alves (UFU) and Prof. Dr. Fábio Carvalho Leite (PUC-Rio).

The project aimed to promote respect for human rights in the digital environment through education and training, emphasizing protecting freedom of religion or belief. The actions were aimed at legal professionals, civil servants, civil society, religious leaders, teachers, and researchers.

It was carried out with the support of the University Support Foundation, the Brazilian Center for the Study of Law and Religion, the Federal University of Uberlândia, and META.
