LABSUL PARTICIPATES IN AN EVENT AT THE STF ON DISINFORMATION

LABSUL, through a representative, participated in the meeting of the “Program to Combat Disinformation of the Federal Supreme Court” on February 27, 2023, Monday, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, in the session room of the First Panel of the Court, coordinated by the President of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) and the National Council of Justice (CNJ), Minister Rosa Weber, through the Permanent Program to Combat Disinformation.

The program, established in August 2021, aims to combat practices that affect people’s trust in the Supreme Court, distort or change the meaning of decisions and jeopardize fundamental rights and democratic stability.

The event’s program began with a visit to the Court’s Plenary and then a meeting with the President of the STF, Minister Rosa Weber.

On this date, the “STF na Escola” program was launched, which aims to bring the Court closer to society, promoting citizen education on the role of the Supreme Court, with university presidents and representatives of institutions in the field of education. The planning of new actions of the Program to Combat Disinformation was also carried out jointly.
