LABSUL PARTICIPATES IN INTERNATIONAL EVENT ON RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AND INTERNET IN BRASÍLIA

From August 8 to 10, 2023, the International Center for Studies in Law and Religion – ICLRS, the School of Law at Brigham Young University – BYU (USA), in collaboration with the Brazilian Center for Studies in Law and Religion – CEDIRE, a research group based at the Faculty of Law of the Federal University of Uberlândia – UFU (Brazil), organized the II Brazilian Symposium on Religious Freedom, in Brasília-DF, at the Centro Cultural Brasil 21.
The event occurred under the general theme “Building bridges, breaking barriers: The role of religious freedom in building a free, fair and solidary society.”
Plenary and parallel sessions addressed topics related to international diplomacy, inter-religious dialogue, internet and social media, social relations, culture, labor issues, etc.
A representative of LABSUL presented, within Parallel Session I, “Freedom of Religion or Belief and Freedom of Expression: contemporary challenges,” the seminar on “Metaverse and Religious Freedom.”

Exceptional
