On November 11, LabSul's Executive Director, Gustavo Borges, handed a copy of the book Direito das Plataformas Digitais (Digital Platforms Law) to Justice Luís Roberto Barroso, who prefaced it.
The book is a collective work financed and organized by LabSul and coordinated by Prof. Dr. Gustavo Borges. The book is divided into two parts:
Part I - Digital Platforms, Human Rights and Comparative Law, which includes articles by the following authors: Gustavo Borges; Roberta Ferme Sivolella; Anna Carolina Pinho; Juliana Oliveira Domingues and Christian Perrone.
Part II - Digital Platforms and Current Regulatory Discussions, with articles by Pietra Daneluzzi Quinelato; José Luiz de Moura Faleiros Júnior; Thobias Prado and Rodrigo Vitorino; Pedro Henrique Ramos; André Rafael Weyermüller and Wilson Engelmann and; Leonardo Netto Parentoni.
The book investigates the legal, ethical, and regulatory impacts of these technologies from a multidisciplinary perspective. Based on a critical analysis, it examines the interaction between human rights and new technologies, addressing issues such as disinformation, privacy, artificial intelligence, child protection, digital advertising, and platform governance.
We invite you to immerse yourself in this book that combines dialogues on human rights and digital platforms.
