In June 2024, as part of the ongoing work of the governance track of the World Economic Forum's Defining and Building the Metaverse Initiative, a briefing paper was produced outlining the unique cybersecurity challenges associated with the metaverse and the next phase of the Internet.
LabSul was actively involved in drafting this document, bringing its expert and in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity challenges and solutions. Our contribution has helped direct the attention of decision-makers and developers to ethical and resilient cybersecurity considerations from a global governance perspective.
This document aims to address cyber risks while they are still in their early stages, preparing metaverse ecosystems to resist damage caused by threat actors and sustain unwanted behavior by users or the systems themselves.
