LabSul took part in the II Symposium on Gaming Law, Betting, and Responsible Gambling, organized by the São Paulo Bar Association (OAB-SP) on October 27, 2025, at the institution’s headquarters. The participation was represented by Letícia Ferraz, LabSul’s Director of Projects, who joined discussions on the legal and regulatory challenges of Brazil’s betting market.
The event brought together government representatives, legal professionals, industry leaders, influencers, and civil society advocates, fostering a diverse and insightful dialogue on the future of sports betting regulation and responsible gambling in Brazil.
Panels covered topics such as legislation, taxation, sports integrity, and safe betting practices, highlighting the importance of cross-sector cooperation to build a robust, transparent regulatory ecosystem committed to social responsibility.
LabSul’s participation reinforces the institution’s commitment to advancing ethical and technical debates on regulation, human rights, and new technologies, particularly in areas that directly impact the digital society and the modern economy.
