LabSul is now a member of the Rede de Parceiros pela Integridade da Informação sobre Mudança do Clima (RPIIC), an initiative that brings together Brazilian civil society organizations, universities, and research groups dedicated to developing studies, solutions, and actions focused on information integrity regarding climate change.
The Network is part of the Brazilian Chapter of the Global Initiative for Information Integrity on Climate Change, launched by Brazil, the United Nations (UN), and UNESCO during the G20 Summit in November 2024. It currently brings together more than 130 organizations and research groups in the country.
The initiative seeks to strengthen an information environment that promotes the production, circulation, and accessibility of reliable, evidence-based information on climate change, contributing to enhancing the quality of public debate and climate action.
Joining the RPIIC expands LabSul’s participation in forums for coordination and knowledge production related to topics connecting the digital environment, rights, public policies, and contemporary regulatory challenges.
