LabSul attended the Thematic Meeting of the Observatório do Trabalho Decente do Poder Judiciário (OTD), held on September 22 at the headquarters of the Conselho Nacional de Justiça (CNJ) in Brasília.
Organized by the OTD in partnership with the Organização Internacional do Trabalho (OIT), the meeting focused on “Decent Work in the Digital Platform Economy: challenges to the effectiveness of OIT Convention 193” and brought together representatives from government agencies, workers, digital platforms, and academia. Adopted by the OIT in June 2026, Convention 193 is the first international labor standard specifically dedicated to decent work in the digital platform economy. During the meeting, participants discussed its recognition within the Brazilian legal system and pathways to its effective implementation.
LabSul’s presence reflects its ongoing focus on regulatory debates related to the transformations brought about by digital technologies and their impacts on markets, labor relations, and public policies.
